Still for sale:

75 gallon glass tank with no scratches. Very nice looking real wood canopy and cabinet stand. I think the wood is oak. Lighting is 4 bulb VHO for 440 total watts, with reflector. Bulbs could use replacing. Lots of liverock, pair of clownfish, assorted snails/hermits, serpent starfish and several corals - including lots of pink pulsing xenia, lots of red mushrooms, lots of reddish zooanthids, multiple Kenya trees, torch coral, tons of green star polyps. Some algae, cyano and a couple aiptasia present on liverock.

Tank/stand/canopy alone is $300.
Tank/stand/canopy WITH lighting $450.
Tank/stand/canopy WITH lighting AND livestock $700

Can also sell corals and rock seperately. Located near Hibbing.

A couple of questions please. What is the ballast and end caps of the VHO system?? Are the bulbs are over a year old?? Of the four lights, which are actinic and which are white??

How much liverock do you have?? Do you have Flatworms or ever had them?? Ever treat with copper?? What are you asking per pound for the liverock?? And last, do you have any pics??

If my system were further along, I'd take all the livestock off your hands. But I am not ready yet unfortunately. Although, the GSP, xenia and shrooms ought to do just fine.

I am new to the area and not familiar with Hibbing. How close to it are you??

P.S. I have friends that I work with that travel that way all the time (Grand Rapids and such). Maybe we could work some sort of pick up if you and they are willing. I am hesitant to travel very far as my wife is super pregnant and due any day. I am staying close to home.

The lighting: yes the bulbs are over a year and should be replaced. It came from hellolights - I'm not sure what you are asking about the ballast and endcaps. It is a retrofit, so there is a reflector and bulbs with waterproof endcaps, and the ballast is a black box below the stand.

Not sure how many pounds of liverock. A fair amount. It's never had flatworms, but I'm being honest about the algae and cyano, and 3 aiptasia that I can see. Most of the liverock is bigger pieces with lots of corals attached - I want to go $40 to $75 per piece for the pieces with lots of corals. The plain liverock on the bottom layer - I don't know what the going rate is ..... $3 per pound?

Most of the livestock should be just fine as long as you have enough liverock. I always start my new tanks quickly with lots of established liverock. Most corals should be fine, the xenia may be questionable - but I have a lot if you want to give it a try.

I am in Side Lake, 20 miles north of Hibbing. I can meet in Hibbing, and maybe even Grand Rapids. pm me your email address and I'll send pics.

I saw most of the pics last night just before my computer locked up. I swore and went to bed. Are you selling everything, livestock and hardgoods?? If so, are you getting out of the hobby?? Why??

I am interested in a bunch of the stuff. But the timing is not good at the moment as I mentioned above. Money isn't the issue, timing is.

I am NOT leaving the hobby. I am moving across the country, so all livestock has to go. Then the movers told me that it would cost at least $100 to move the tank itself since they have to crate it - well for just a little more I can buy a new tank when I get to my new location. Plus, I have toyed with the idea of going with a slightly smaller tank. Anyway,......I would prefer not to sell the stand/canopy and lighting, but who is going to want just the tank???

I have a friend who is going to grand rapids this weekend. He goes fairly regularly. He plans to come back this way on Sunday mornming. I've promised him lots of beer if he could bting some stuff back with him. Normally, I would drive over there and box everything up. I heart it's about a 4 hour drive from here (TRF) to there. Any possibility of getting some livestock to him in Grand Rapids?? Maybe ee can chat about it on the phone, I'll PM you my number. I definitely (now that I understand you are moving) want all of your live stock and maybe even the tank, but I cannot stray too far from this town until our babay is born. Every day we get closer to "the day". I am interested in anything you want to get rid of. PM on it's way.
