I have a tank that was set up for 6 years then I had to tear it down. It has been sitting for almost 3 years. I would like to know if I should cut out the silicone inside the tank and redo it? The tank has not been moved since the it was set up but, I think ill have to move it to get it ready for its new running.

I would not reseal the tank unless it was leaking. Do a test fill and see if it holds water. Unless you want the clean look of fresh silicone I would not reseal it.:hmm3: Happy Reefing and Welcome back!!!:fish2:

Thanks, was worried about silicone drying out from the salt water.
