Tank mates

I have a 24 gallon nano cube with about 50 lbs of live rock and live sand. It's been running for about a year. Everything is finally in balance. I have a Velvet damsel and a Tomato Clown. They are the only fish in the tank. Is there anything I could add the to help with algae clean up? I have a large crab and a few snails.

I agree with cliving1, no more fish. Manually remove and do more frequent water changes.

Run some GFO. Also, you might be down to one fish. I think those Tomato Clowns require a bigger tank and they are the most aggressive of the Clowns, IMO.

Yup. I had a Tomato Clown in a 30g cube, and it never let me add another fish. He was a grumpy old man. (Girl actually).

Turbo snails made my tank beautiful after a year bout with GHA. But the Damsel and the Clown are very territorial, so unlikely you get anything else in that tank (as others have stated).
