tank mounts too heavy?

I was thinking of getting AI tank mounts for my sols on a rimless tank. The glass is think on it. But the other day when i picked up my friend's tank mount with ai 26's on it, it was pretty heavy.

So the question is, has anyone heard of any problems with putting heavy mounts + lights on a tank? Could the weight cause problems? I am guessing not, but just wanted to see if anyone has heard any stories about unwanted pressure on a rimless.

The weight is distributed along the bracket so it's not a point load. Chances are you're fine unless you have very thin glass or you plan to bang into it constantly.
