Things are looking up... sort of. Now if I can get the algae that seems to appear daily under control....

the cords and tubes in that last pic are awesome

You making fun of me Leighton?!? With a name like that...

J/K...

Actually most of that mess is from the reactor that I will finally fire up this weekend.

You need more FLOOOOW I just fired up a Tunze 6200 and wow along with my 2 6100 I am getting a .25 of a wave.
But looks really good.

How's that mesh mod working for you?

I don't know what my skimmer was pulling out before the mod (since I'd never used it as it sat in a box) but I didn't clean the thing for 2 and a half days and the collection cup was more than half full of nearly black skimmate and a bunch of dry gunk as well.

Definately need more flow. I tried a maxi-mod in there that I traded a Seio for, and I wish I had the Seio back actually. It was just too noisy for me.

Anyone have a Seio 1100 or 1500 they'd trade for some rics perhaps? Or a nanostream?

My MJ mod is silent and moves insane amounts of water. Pushed most of the sand over to one side of the tank. It's a DIY project, sometimes it's loud sometimes it's not.
