Decided to take another picture today for contrast with the previous posting. The finger-type sinularia has to be trimmed constantly. The green zoanthids are a problem as they are not easily separated from the rock.

Steve,
How do you like the acrylic tank? Is that a pre-drilled model? What are the dimensions? I'm trying to figure out what to do next....

I love my acrylic. The tank came pre drilled and it is 48" long 24" tall and 30" front to back. The only thing I do not like about acrylic is that it scratches easily. When you scratch acrylic you can buff it out. I can tell you that I will never worry about my acrylic tank leaking or breaking.

Wow, those tanks are super cool. I love the way everything has grown together. The orange and green zooanthids rock!

I have the same calcaerous algae on my back tank wall. Does anyone know anything about its formation, and whether or not it's a good/bad thing? I've left it alone for the moment at least because I'm in a period of really good coralline algae growth as well, and don't want to mess it up.
