You are the wind beneath my wings, ade. I also have a Sailfin not pictured, but I agree I am going to switch to fish finding now instead of coral hunting. I really want a powder blue tang and possibly a Klien's Butterfly.

Great Pictures. Love the tank. I would not do a PBT in a 90 with a sailfin. I was going to do this with mine but i decided not do because i know the PBT's can get aggressive and they need lots of room to swim. They are also rated for tanks over 100g. But its totally up to you and how many more fish you are going to put in. PBT can also get ich easily so i would suggest getting a QT tank.

Most tangs are prone to ich. Hipo and PBT more so than the rest.

Well I will be moving to a bigger tank when I move to my new place in July. I probably won't do the tangs till then. I am planning on taking my 90 gallon and turning it into a gigantic sump, getting a 120 display for my room, and getting a large rubbermaid holding pond and creating a shark/ray pond in the back room. Plus I will be looking to get my hands on some of those fish display tanks (like they have at the pet stores) that I can run with a UV clarifier and Ozone to create a mutual water QT area. Everything will run from the 90 sump and I figure all the water capacity will make everything pretty stable.

if you could get a small PBT i wouldn't worry about it at all in a 90. i had one with a sailfin back in my 50 and it did just fine (pics in gallery).

i don't like quarantining tangs. ich is pretty normal for a new tang, but if you make it happy it'll clear itself within a day or two no problem. there's a *much* better chance of it being happy in a nice stable display tank than a typical Q tank- which is usually an unstable junk tank setup a couple days before.
