I am currently looking for a project cause all of my wood working projects seem to be complete as of now...lol I am kicking around the idea of building a tank. I want to build a cube shaped tank or a look down tank pry no more than 50-65 gallons. Got a few questions..... how thick and what kind of glass do I need and is there any wayto figure how many gallons it will hold if I come up with deminsions? Thanks

Depends on the size and dimensions, but at that approx size you are probably looking at atleast 3/8" and maybe 1/2" glass. Around here, 3/8" goes for $6.50 sq/ft. Hope that helps. Mark

Standard plate glass and you are good. As was said above, you can't drill tempered. Tempered is stonger, but also more expensive. I wouldn't mess with it. I have never tried to buy tempered. Mark
