But aren't the proceeds first to cover TCR's expense of the system, then whatever is left goes to STARS in order to make the raffle official? I would ask the great people at TCR (Leanor and Daniel) to see what they have sold and what they need in order to get the system raffled. This way, you can post it here what is needed in order to raffle of the system. Just my .02
True, but even with "enough tickets sold", does it cover the expense of the system? Has anyone spoken to Leanor or Daniel to see if the expense of the system v tickets sold is suffice to raffle off now? I would still contact TCR to see if the expense of the system has been met. If it has, I agree, this has gong on far too long and was swept under the rug. If not, I would post it on here as to how much is needed to raffle of the system. It's only fair since there is more of a risk to TCR and no risk to STARS. I know I wont win since I live somewhere else. Just asking questions. There are enough tickets sold to cover the tank and a very minimal amount left over that will go to the club. I just think that this raffle has taken too long. I say we do the Drawing and pay TCR their share and call it a day. At $3 dollars a ticket for a new complete reef ready 12g gallon tank it is a steal. Even if you dont plan to set it up it can be a great present for a family member ( get them hooked on the hobby)
Justin! You are my favorite Beiber!lets kill it. time to end it for sure....and hans maybe i could be there for you...if you win i will let you know
