also, I've been told elsewhere that the overflows on the DD max out at about 1000 each. Can anyone speak to that? On a 300, I'd like a bit more than that I'd think....

You won't need to use anywhere near that kind of flow through your sump. You only require just enough flow through the sump to allow the equipment to function. Flow in the tank should come by other means.

Deep sea aquatics looks promising.. looks like standards max out at 27 front to back, which may be the only thing worth whining about .. at least on quick review
anyone have experience with them?
