Tank setup

I am in the process of setting up my Marineland 250. Dimensions are 5' wide x 3' deep x 27" tall. Current fish I have are a volitan, huma huma trigger, miniatus grouper, and a yellow eye, yellow and sailfin gangs. They are in a 125 right now. I am wondering what a cool group of fish would be? I am interested in puffers, eels and rays but have read of so many different issues with aggressive "community" tanks. What can I reasonably add to my current population keeping the tank in mind? Also, I am most partial to the lion.

just to say the 5 foot tank isnt going to work for all the fish u have u need more lenght 6 foot or more but not to get on you just a long term opinion i like puffers as well there great fish

I personally think your stocked to the max if your going to add them all to the 250. And please don't add a puffer to the tank it already has one fin nipper in it being the trigger it will just end badly for a fish probably the lion. You could probably try a school of damsels good size ones though. Most likely they won't last long unless you give them some places to swim out the way of everything else in the tank. A ray is out of the question with the fish you already have same with the puffer. Never had an eel so can't give any advace on that part.

I have a puffer and a lion...no problems. They get along great, now not sure about the trigger...I agree with the ray, not enough room.
