tank setup ????

Okay so Im in the process of setting up my 90g and have a question. I am using a 30long for a sump. I have installed the baffles. I want to know if i should put the end for the intake directly under the corner overflow outlet or the area with the return pump directly under it? The pump is an oceanrunner 3500. If the pump is directly under it would push water up about 6 ft with it on the other end about 8 feet. Thanks

I would go less feet for the pump. just make sure you have room for unions and valves to easliy remove pump in case of issue or cleaning.
