tank size for Lieutenant Tang

dont see anything about a tank size for one, wondering if a 150 would be ok

I'm no expert on tangs. I'm sure others will chime in but LiveAquaria suggests a 180g tank. Maybe because of the length of the tank?

I was going to say a 180 for a minimum but it would be ok in a 150 for a while. I had my orange shoulder tang in a 125 for a while which has the same body shape and gets the same size. As long as your 150 is a 6' long tank.

thanks for the help guys, if its not going to be ok for his full life then i dont want to put him in, not really the type that likes to have to rehome fish because they are going to get too big for my tank
