Hi,
I'm currently setting up my first reef tank, I only want to keep a few fish; maybe 3 in total, 2 shrimp (maybe fire shrimp), and a goby (maybe 2). I have a 45 gallon tank, 24 wide x 24 deep x 18 inches tall. Are there any clown fish that I could keep and that would do well in a tank this size? I won't get ones if they'll outgrown it, or if they wouldn't be happ
y in a tank that size.
Thanks!

Sometimes I feel like my 75 is too small for my Blue Line, but clowns from the Clarkii complex tend to swim around more than other types of clowns.

Several years back I had a pair of Saddlebacks in a 40 and they didn't seem to mind at all.

You will have no problems with any types of clowns in your tank. Just get a pair and no more than two clowns or you will have a war on your hands.
Clowns don't need alot of room as they don't move to far from their nems if they have one.
