Tank size question...again

Well the past few times I have been on here looking for info. the search function has been down. Is there any at least semi-commonly found mantis that can be housed for life in a 5 gallon-ish tank? I know questions like this are asked all the time, so I apologize for asking again.

thanks for the great site...so would:

Gonodactylaceus glabrous
Gonodactylellus affinis
Gonodactylellus caldwelli
Gonodactylellus viridis
Gonodactylus childi
Gonodactylus platysoma
Gonodactylus smithii
Haptosquilla glyptocercus
Haptosquilla hamifera
Haptosquilla stoliura
Haptosquilla trispinosa
Neogonodactylus bredini
Neogonodactylus oerstedii
Neogonodactylus wennerae

all be okay for that size tank?

seems like the neogonodactylus genus is more active from the website...is that correct? Thanks again for the site.

Also, what are sites that commonly have correctly labeled mantis shrimp for sale?

most of those species are incedibly hard to find unless you go and collect them yourself... the wennerae and smithii are "common" in the trade (the smithii is more rare, but very colorful)

from reading up more, thats kind of what I was coming to find out.

on another note, I notice you go to UGA...hows that treating you? I just graduated from FSU and will be going to grad school for accounting in the fall. One of the places I am thinking about is UGA.

UGA has a phenomenal business school, I am a senior physics major, but do not plan on doing my grad work here. I know that "Terry" is a well recognized school, and is one of the top business departments in the nation.... Athens itself is an incredible town, if you haven't been, its hard not to have a crazy night downtown, and there has been a plethora of nice new housing being built over the past few years... The football aint bad either! We have a pretty decent reefer store, I bought my peacock from them, but it is the only one they had/have ever seen (they randomly had one they picked it up for me from the atlanta wholesaler). I try EVERYTIME I go in there to convince them to put a nice peacock or wennerae in their little Nano tanks by the door!

Here's a pic of one of my pool parties:

if u decide to go, let me know and I can point u in the direction of some good housing...
