I have a mated pair of Clarks in my tank, and I'm going to be adding more fish.
Currently, I have a Yellow Tang, the 2 Clowns, a yellow tailed damsel and another assorted damsel.
I'll be adding the following (potentially - this is subject to change depending on feedback):
Royal Gramma
Coral Beauty and/or Flame Angel (issues keeping both in 100G tank?)
Jawfish
Neon Gobies (about 6, I think)
Blue Tang (different body shape than the yellow - OK, right?)
And we'd love to get more clowns.
That said, I think mixing clown species in this small of a tank is asking for trouble. I understand I may be able to add a third clark, however I am unsure. The anemone (simple bubble; not sure of the exact one) split about a year ago, I guess, so now I have 2. Each of the fish call one their own now; whether or not they are a mated pair anymore is anyones guess. They USED to lay eggs but stopped some time ago. I thought it was possibly due to the damsel I HAD in there who was harassing them (he's about 4 inches and a REAL jerk! He's looking for another home at the moment; I have him in a tank by himself now...). They may have stopped laying eggs because the anemone reproduced; I'm unsure (any thoughts on that are welcomed!).
I love the clowns, but I also don't want any new inhabitants to get the tar beat out of them.
Anyone have any insight?
Also, I understand this isn't necessarily "clown" related; I've been wondering about the tank stocking and thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone.
Thanks...
