Ive recently set up my 55 gal tank and i am not running a heater, the tank runs about 74 daytime and 72 at night. should i add one of my heaters to it? i plan on starting the reef soon after a little more research. i added a pair of ocellaris (false percs) 5 days ago. also i have added 4 hermit crabs and 2 turbin snails. the clowns dont have a host but am planning for one soon. they hang out on one side of the tank in the back, is this normal. what temp do they like, what temo should my tank be?

Thanks for any info!

IMO yes! I keep my tank around 80.Are your clowns tank raised or from the ocean? when you get a heater do not change the temp of the tank drastically & quickly. Also you say you would like to get a host soon, your tank is still young go slow. Take this time to enjoy clowns and read, read and read! :)

Somewhere between 78 and 82 is normal, kept in as narrow a band as you can. 72 is pretty chilly, I'd get a heater in there and slowly raise the temp.
