Tank Temp.

Hi All,

considering I can never do a search on this site.

What temp. do you keep your FO tanks at? I'm currently @ 78-80F.

i keep mine at 75. i'm probably on the lower end of the temp spectrum AND i don't have my tank covered, so whether the lights are on or off, there is no change in the temp from day to night....my fuzzy dwarf and his janitorial crew are all healthy and active.

I think 78 is the optimal temp. I currently have mine at 80 until a couple of my fish get over some minor ick (to speed up the cycle). then it's going back to 78.

Mine is at 80. As long as it doesn't swing a bunch, I bet anywhere from 70 to 87 would okay for most fish.
