Tank Tour 07'!!!

It's about that time of year again and I was wondering when you guys would like to have the tank tours this year. If I remember right we did all of the tank tours on the same weekend (or did we?). I suggest this year we try and stagger them out so people from other areas get a chance to see everyone's tank and possibly hit all 3 tours.

Being we had to cancel our speaker this month, I was thinking it would be a good idea to get a jump start on coordinating the tank tours.

For those of you who don;t know what I mean by tank tour, I will explain. Basically we setup up a day where we all meet at someone's house and drive around going from house to house looking at people's tanks.

Last year was a total blast and personally I am super excited about trying to hit all 3 areas this year.

I guess another thing to decide is where the final stop of each tour will be so we can all relax and chat a little and maybe BBQ?

Being we are already part of the way into August and most of us already have the weekends booked maybe we should look at doing it in September.

I was thinking about doing it like this but we can decide/vote which way works best for everyone.

Sept. 2nd Des Moines Area
Sept. 9th CR/IC Area
Sept 16th Waterloo Area

Like I said we can work on the dates but I do think Saturdays work best for everyone.

Any thoughts, ideas, rude comments?

Sunday's work better for me actually as Sept. is the beginning of College Football season.

i agree with jb, we would host the cr bbq/last stop on a sunday but not saturday during a hawk game

Whatever you guys want to do, i am just trying to get the ball rolling and would like to work around as many people schedules as possible, that way we can all have more beer...errr i mean fun.
