Yes, that makes sense now, thanks for clarifying. My quote about the 78 hours is actually irrelevant since that was referring to the minimum amount of time ich lives on the fish, my mistake. The article doesn’t give a minimum time in hours that the tomont takes to get from encysting on the hard surface to hatching, it just says it takes at least 3 days but usually at least 4 days. So it totally makes sense to say 72 hours between transfers. But the time of day to transfer is not important.
Do you think if one of us wrote a post with straightforward instructions for TTM they would make it a sticky? I just want it to be easier for people to understand and not so ambiguous. Because I am so glad I started using it instead of copper. I haven’t lost a fish in QT since I started doing TTM. And once I got used to the process it’s not that hard and totally worth the time.
