Tank Transfer question

For transfers, does the salinity and temperature have to be exactly matched?
If it is close enough, will there still be problems?

Will trophonts stay on fish longer if the parameters are not exact?

My fish has gone through multiple transfers but it is still twitching and has one white spot on its pectoral fin for a couple weeks.

A persistent white spot is likely lymphocystis. Will take time and vita-chem or selcon added to food will make it disappear more quickly. Twitching could be flukes, Prazipro will fix that (x2 a week apart). Salinity and temperature should be close but will not affect the life cycle of CI.

I did a prazipro treatment for 3 weeks already. Thanks for the advice. I am soaking the NLS pellets in selcon.

Prazipro only lasts 3 days in the system. Did you dose it twice, 7 days apart? Otherwise, if you dosed it at the beginning of the 3 weeks and not again, then new hatchlings will be on your fish already, possibly causing the twitching.

just covering all bases, just in case.
