hey everyone. im finally starting to transfer my livestock to my new 150 from my rsm 250. i started with dry rock and sand. i seeded the sand with a cup from my old tank and used a couple pieces of live rock to seed to new stuff. as of right now my refugium is loaded with rock from my old system. my question was could i for now put live rock in my return section as well to help with biological filter? or should i be ok without it? my ststem is about 2 months new and contains some frags, 2 green chromies, and my longnose hawk. in the next week i plan on adding a pair of black clarkiis one is 3 1/2 in a very fat, the male is about 2 1/2 in but much smaller body. also about a week after that i have a small 3 1/2 in yellow tang to add.
let me me know what you think or something you might do different. any input is appreciated. i want this transfer to go smoothly as all my fish have been with me for 2 years now, except the yellow got him 3 months ago to fatten him up before the move
