tank up date

I am happy to report that my 100 gal fowlr tank has cycled and my parameters are all where they should , at 0 except my calicum which is at 375ppm. So I now have my first inhabitants , 10 snails that start with A and 3 red legged hermit s and 3 blue hermits and my personal favorite a lawnmower blenny which bears a stricling resemblance to Homer simpson. this fish even eats like him. Anyway I really appreciate all the advice I've recieved here and it really helped get me on the right track to make saltwater less scary

how long did it take to cycle?

it itook 7 days to cycle and i would love to put up some pictures but i cant figure out how to shrink them to 50 k but when i do i'll put them up .

how many pounds of live rock did you cycle?

google "windows power tools" and download the picture resizer...thats what i use at least

i bought my rock [100lbs] already cured so i think thats why my cycling period was so short and i tested today and my ammonia is at zero as well my nitrate, nitrite , ph is 8.4 and calcium is 375 ppm. but as far as my picyures go i still haven't got a clue hoe to shrink them.

Try "Mihov Image Resizer".....do a search on google for the application....it will reduce image sizes for you...then you need to upload your pics to your gallery...then you can post them from there....more research under the gallery section.
