Tank Update Pic Intensive

Finally, after 7 months following the upgrade of my beautiful 55g to my 200g I am starting to have success.

I will tell you what, my passion for this hobby has been tested, but like everything if you have to search hard for it you will learn a lot down the way... oh, I love this too much as well :)

As some of you will know my journey of a simple upgrade to a larger tank following a move of house was at least to say, hopelessââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦.

For 7 months I have been trying to solve problems for everything a marine tank can have when I finally discovered it was the lack of MH screens following them cracking during routine maintenance. Me not realizing their importance did not replace them.

Here are some pictures of my current setup after mods etc,

Please tell me what you think on the health of things. Compared to last month they are so much better (the anemone is out now for a start) and the LR looks to be taking life again

The fish are still breathing fast, they act normal and I do not think there is a problem with O2. The damsel has improved lots in health he nearly had no fins.

Algae is now the problem, but I think this will fade in time, it is like my tank cycling when I replaced the screens, diatome's and everything.

Those fish are lucky though 100g's each and the one coral - do you think this will grow quicker as it is the only one?

As I have some free time at the moment I can really put some dedication into reef keeping I have a few projects that I will be posting about in the coming months that hopefully will be of some interest, they will all be involved with creating the perfect reef environment via the home PC (Keeps me outta Trouble!!!:) )

Flow system, now.. keeping PH's from the front glass, using different capacity either side of the tank has allowed for good surge like current a wavemaker system is yet to be installed.

Take it from my experience so little can quickly become everywhere. Once those bubbles mature and pop you'll be wishing you did something sooner. The best way would be to take the rock out, pull them, then rinse the rock really well with salt mixed water. Try not to pop them when you take them off.

cheers - will take them out tonight, thanks for the advice on taking them out, after the problems I have had I do not want to risk anything else. I thought they stuck to one location so I was going to colture a rock with just that on it.
