Tank upgrade 60 to 90. Does this process sound right?

I am about to move from a 60 cube to a new 90 gallon build. I have some live rock from my old tank, but i don't plan on using all of it. I really like the look and what not from the BRS reef saver rock. So i will add some of that too. So does this process sound like the least problematic
  • Drill live rock and aquascape
  • Cure live rock in trash can for 3 weeks per BRS's instruction
  • Get tank back painted black
  • paint stand the color i want
  • get over flow for beananimal
  • get all plumbing pieces
  • build sump from 40g breeder tank
  • get new tank in place
  • get plumbing setup
  • add live rock from tank and trash can to new tank (Aquascape)
  • add sand
  • drain water from old tank
  • get fish out of tank and into a holding tank
  • wait for everything to settle in new tank
  • make sure plumbing is ok
  • move fish to tank after a day or so

A few modifications I would make:
Test the plumbing outside before you bring it into your house
When you actually transfer the livestock over to the new tank I would transfer as much clean water as you can from your old system to the new, then move all the fish and corals over at the same time, there really isn't a need to let the tank settle, the fish will do better if you move them over right away, just match the salinity, temperature and alkalinity as close as possible.

Yeah totally will transfer all the water i can to the new tank. Good idea about just moving the fish too. Thanks! I will be starting a new 90 tank build soon.
