I'm going to be upgrading from a 240 gallon glass tank that I setup back in 2005 to a 375 gallon acrylic in about 2 weeks. I figured it was time to upgrade from a 6 foot to an 8 foot tank and can't wait as there's a lot more options and room to grow with the upgrade!!
That said, when I setup my current tank back in 2005, it was all MH and T5 lighting on a DIY canopy layout that I did. Once I upgrade, I want to change over to more efficient lighting, and see that LED has become pretty popular over the past few years. I see a lot of mention about LED's with smaller tanks, but haven't researched too much about it with larger reef setups and am just starting to look deeper into it now.
Can anybody give me recommendations with a tank that measures 96X30X30 on what they would recommend and how many I'd need? I do plan to have a mix of SPS/LPS/soft corals, and figured I'd point that out prior to the recommendations. Thank you ahead of time for your help!
