I am getting ready to swab tank, from 150g to 240g what is the safe way to do without killing any fish. I have approx 12 fish mostly tang and wrasse. Is it possible to do it in one day?

I think this largest concern would be stirring up the sandbed as you move it. You're likely to get a spike in nitrogen.

Are you going to sell your 150? I might be interested....pics?

I will replace the sandbed with 80-100lbs of new live sand and may use 5 lbs of the old sand. I really want to go BB but i have wrasse, they like to sleep in the sand.

I will sell my tank as soon as i finish. I will post some pix of the tank, stand, canopy this weekend. I purchased the tank last year in aug.
Visio tank, Center overflow box, 2x1"bulkhead holes drill for return. no eurobrace.

Stand 36" with three doors regular pine wood. i already stain them and couple coat of water proof sealer

Canopy 11" two doors, open top, originally has two fan holes but i drill two more, currently has 4 fans mounted, two lumamax reflector, 1x60" VHO handled by workhorse 7, super atinic bulb.

Glass sump 48x20x20 with built in refugium 3/8" thick glass.

Pump panworld100pxx for return
I will let all this go for $950 OBO.

I would suggest first of all that you run the 240 with salt water for at least 48 hours if you have that luxury just to make sure that your system is leak free and dialed in the way you like.

Buy a few rubbermaids and empty the water and corals/liverock into the rubbermaids. Then transfer the base rock from the rubbermaids to the 240 followed by the corals followed by the fish. This method has worked well for me on several ocassions.

Also, I can get you a brand new Sequence dart for a great price if you're interested.

Cheers
Danny

Yes i am interested. I check with Myreefcreations for sequence dart pump and it is 190 with free shipping. How much can you get the pump for. Let me know thanks.
