I'm looking to set up a Carribean-themed tank in the next few years and I'd like to keep a Pseudosquilla ciliata in there as the feature animal. But I'd also like to keep some other motile invertebrates. I'm mainly looking for information on how likely this kind of mantis is to go after the following:
Feather duster worms (sabellid and serpulid tube worms)
Serpent and brittle stars
Porcelain crabs (I'm betting these are on the menu?)
Turbo, astrea, cerith, and nerite snails
Small hermit crabs
I know keeping mantis shrimp with other tankmates always presents some risk, but I'm interested in what seems likely to be seen as food and what may be ignored. Information on this will help me decide what to leave out of the tank, or if I need to consider a seperate tank entirely.
