I just finished up my tank move from Edmond to Piedmont yesterday and all went well with the move. The coral opened up that night, despite the less than ideal conditions. I had to fill my 33g half way to hold some the softies and lobos 2 nights ago because I didn't have my stand yet. I did fully set up the biocube to hold my sps and fish. I got the stand in last night and set the tank on it with a 3/4 fill (ran out of salt water) and went to bed. I topped it off tonight and glued the coral in place and everyone is happy.
I still have to build a new sump and plumb it and the 20L into the system. I tried to head out today to get the supplies, but the 9" snow drift behind my RX8 had other plans. I have heat, light and circulation, so life is good. I'm moving the fish over tonight and will be done with the major moves then.
I did have one casualty. My female clarkii jumped into the back chamber of my BC and got stuck on thenreturn pump while I was out to dinner. So far there have been no other losses.
I'm thinking of getting a pair of naked clowns or some other perc/occelaris variant to go in my 33g. I may or may not re-home the little clarkii.
More to come when the 8 can take me out of the driveway! Merry Christmas and happy reefing
