Tanks

Curious what company makes the best tanks with built in overflows. I have been running my Oceanic 150 for 10 years. It was 3 years used when I bought it to upgrade an 80 gallon. Anyway a mystery leak is there and a slow dripping leak not found yet is creating a small amount of saltwater under tank and wood stand. Yes slow but I need to convert to new tank. Anyway who makes the best?
Thanks

Good luck, I posted a thread here not too long ago asking pretty much the same thing and I didn't get much info.

Sidenote, when did Oceanic stop making big tanks? Seems like all they do these days is those Biocubes.

I replaced an Oceanic bulkhead connector without draining tank. That HAS to be the source of the leak unless a seam is failing.

I still have my Oceanic, but it's now freshwater. I got an AquaVim for my reef, which is a really solid tank with a lot of great features. Some places where I could suggest an improvement, but I'm happy overall.

Good luck with a decent overflow from off the shelf tanks. I haven't found one that's very good at all. Easiest thing is pick your tank, drill it and install something like a ghost overflow. Google it if your not already familiar, better than I can explain it.

If you go the custom route I would recommend Coast to Coast Custom Aquariums. They built my new 187g tank with an external overflow and the attention to detail and build quality are second to none.

I am looking at Perfecto 210g might as well go bigger. 2 corner overflows built in. This Oceanic I have was used. I have had it 10 years not sure age before 3-5 years. The Oceanic bulkhead connectors were not with it. I have no water in cabinet. No salt creep around any water connectors. Water seems to be coming from back corner of tank. The corner of tank cabinet is wet then proceeds down to cabinet bottom and so on. Leak seems to be corner seal. So upgrade time. Shooting for the 210g sale here till end of month.

Anyway on top of that what are the best Ball Valves that do no freeze up?

Custom: AGE, Reef Savvy, Miracles all have pretty good reps.

Have a 150 Gallon A.G.E. and it's really nice. Also was able to pick it up in Dallas and they were very commutative during the build phase.
