Does anyone have experience fixing Tao Tronics LED lights? Tao Tronics does not repair these lights anymore and I am trying to repair the white LEDs. I opened up the LEDs and was able to get the blue LEDs to work, but I can't get the white ones to work. I will post a picture if anyone thinks that they maybe able to help me. It looks like a couple of wires came off of the metal board holding all of the LEDs. Thank you for your time.

post away.. someone should be able to help offer suggestions once you post pictures..
many of us here are knowledgeable in that kind of stuff..

Can you just solder the wires or are they using robotic soldering like they do for motherboards now? Nothing says good eyesight like a 1/64" solder bead lol.

here's the picture with the detached LED wires. The metal thing has the LEDs attache d to the other side of the surface.

Holy crap, seriously? Hot glue? Hahahaha, sorry not laughing at you but them. This absolutely needs some serious redesigning. And shrink tubing, ***?

motherboards are reflow soldered.. Which is very common with surface mount devices.. not really a "robot" involved in the process unless you consider the pick and place machine one or a conveyor..

And a skilled person can usually solder surface mount chips even down to 0402,etc.. packages.. Hot air gun excels there but a soldering iron can be used too..

Ok.. gonna need more than that if you want help..
it should be very simple to identify where any loose wires were attached before though... many times just looking at the break in the solder joint and you can match parts up..
