my powerhead suckion cups broke on me so i wanted to tape them on

Just use Superglue Gel. Better yet, superglue the powerhead to a magnet cleaner like a MagFloat, and you won't have to worry about suction cups failing. Do you know what type of powerhead it is?

I wouldn't trust the adhesive...it probably wouldn't hold long either. Not to mention some fish may try to nip at it and eat it.

I'm not positive what harmful effects tape might have, but why risk it? I wouldn't use it.

Super Glue Gel would be a better option. Pick up some Loctite Super Glue Gel, it's reef safe.

as is Superglue brand gel (any superglue made of cyanoacrylate is reef safe) I use Superglue brand gel for all my frag mounting---everythings fine!!

My MJ's started falling off my glass a few weeks ago, i now have them held on by the clip on the tank till i get my nano streams, i hate it when they cause a sand storm. :mad2:

we had the same problem and we ended up using fishing line. If that's any help to you.
