Hi I was wondering if anyone has had experience with simply flipping a button polyp rock over (shove it into the sand) to kill them off? I just want to make sure that it does not harm my other corals with that nasty palytoxin. Thanks in advance.
I had the same problem with some nasty palys. I called up bluezooaquatics.com and asked them if they could go through their next zoanthid shipments and pick out the sundial snails. I had to pay for them but they have done a Hell of a job. I believe they have killed a lot and seemed to irritate the rest and they have almost completely disappeared. It took a few months but the battle is almost over and it was well worth the money I spent. Hth
nice...thanks for the info. Do they mess with other corals? I ended up just shoving the rock into the sand...palys first! and it seems to be working alright.
