I went there today around noon what an awesome salt water tank all 600 gal of. I am still in awe over there tank the mix of sps and lps.
I spotted min of 3 sps's I would killed for, to bad they do not sell frags from that tank. I was chatting with one of the owners he was telling me they will be setting up a frag tank in the next few months, that they will sell from. I will check back in in a few months, to bad I live 2 hrs north of them.
Anyone else have comments or thoughts on there display tank?

i went to school with ubon at tats in tousand oaks, fish have been his life as far as i could remember...if he has any hand with the store in ventura. they will have great stuff

Yup they have a huge frag tank in the works a couple of thousand gallons I know his Dad. I have traded a few frags from his personal tank, not as big like the one in Ventura but loaded with frags. They have I think 2 surge tanks huge located high in the werehouse for just this frag tank. But for a better selection of fish and coral you should gone a few more miles South to the one they have in Thousand Oaks.

Yeah.. check out the T.O. store if you liked the display tank in Ventura. Tat's amazing quality and selection in the T.O. store. Just bring someone with you to pick you up off the floor when you see the prices

You do get a discount usually if you are in a club.

Also check out Aquatic Village off of Seaward in the Vons shopping center. Great service and nice looking fish/corals.

Yep, I watched that tank come to life over the years. It looks great. I have gotten a few things out of there in the past. Just got to be there at the right times. I've also donated a peice or two to that tank as well.

I was in there on Tuesday, picked up 3 sunburst anthias that were fairly large and also found a beautiful female bellus angel. Shes now in my 400. Has the brighest orange on her fins that I've ever seen. Was eating in their tank and they only got her on Monday. Now I just need them to find me a male for her and a female Wantanabie for my male.

They normaly get shipments in on Mondays and wensdays. Since they started stepping up and redid the store in TO, they are now directly importing fish and corals so they are getting a better collection. I haven't seen it but hear all the good stuff is at the warehouse in Tat's personal tanks.

I have been to the TO store a few times even made the grand opening. Great store I like there floor lay out and there display tank in the front window is awesome. I agree a bit heavy in the prices but if you cannot live without it you know we will pay for it.
On Thursday I only made it as far south as ventura with my work, any futher south I would have gone to the TO store.

Aquatic village is at the seaward exit on the 101. In the Vons shopping center. There is a carrows I beleive in the front corner.

Tat's is next to Target in Ventura on Main street just up the road from the pacific view mall.
