Are tank bred maroon clownfish any less aggressive than the wild ones?

No, they will get more aggressive as they mature. Captive bred could possibly be more disease resistant and less stressed initially then a WC specimen.

I'm dealing with tank bred maroons as we speak. actually... its 'maroon' now. I had to return the smaller of the two, couldent watch the tourture anymore!! (and these two were in a 15 gal tank for two weeks at the LFS before I bought them and they were fine!!) I put them in my 55 gal and all terror set loose!! Got a bta in exchange for the small beat up maroon, and now the maroon I kept is killing the bta with love.. litterally... killing it... with love. VERY MEAN LIL B!#*&#$
