As a result of starting a new business and the need to remodel the room in which my tank is located, I will be selling everything off over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on this thread for lots of high end equipment at fair prices. Some teasers:

Ecotech, Neptune, Tunze, Vertex, Sicce, etc.

I'll start posting items next week.
 
I'm a bit sad about this but I'm pretty excited about my new business and I don't think I'll be taking that long a break from running a tank. I learned a valuable lesson however. If a tank is 'out of sight' it is 'out of mind'. Next tank will be in a main area of the house so I can't ignore it (like missing the fact that I dosed two liters of kH in an hour nuking my tank).
 
So, for those who are interested, here's the first major item.

2 Ecotech XR30w 4th gens plus matching RMS mounts. $500 each. They are in perfect condition and I have the original packaging. These are killer lights at a stupid good price but they need to go before I tear everything else down.

That is the same reason years ago that I got rid of my tank, out of sight out of mind. My new tank is in the main living area of my house and gets plenty of attention. Good luck on your new venture.

Thanks so much but I'm going to probably go in a different direction. Thinking about a really nice 40 gallon cube. Then again, maybe I'll just move to an island in the South Pacific and go scuba diving every day. Kinda like what Ryan did.:spin1:
 
As promised, the next item up for sale is a Vertex Omega 180i Protein Skimmer. It's about a year old but probably only has six months of use. It'll be cleaned within an inch of its life and should be in 'like new condition'. I paid $500.

Great skimmer for a small footprint since the pump is internal. Very quite and build quality is beautiful. I'll take $400 OBO. It will be ready towards the middle of next week.
