Just curious how people hide all the wires under the stand. My wife doesn't want anything showing on the outside, which means all the wires and controllers need to be mounted safely in the stand (which has limited room)

I've seen others build technology drawers which slide back and forth and I'm curious to see what creative ways others have found

Following...I've been thinking about finding a small cabinet that matches the tank stand and having that next to the tank for equipment.

As you mentioned, having enough room is the tough part. I made a "drawer" of sorts:

Liberal use of zip ties, zip tie mounting pads & velcro! I have seen some stands that have a cabinet at the end where the controller is mounted. The inside of a door is also a good place to mount things.

A lot of people use something like a DJ power supply or a power strip with individual switches
