You are going to have to elaborate.
Just looking for some experienced eyes on what is growing on my LR, or anywhere else for that matter, good algea, bad algea, etc. There's a million things to learn in this hobby and I kinda like trial and error but sometimes it's helpful to get some third party feedback, so to speak. There is an album in my profile that has several more pictures easier to see rather than this thumbnail.

+1 need some direction here on what your after
I see a mix of diff rock types, some snails, a shrimp in the background, blue fish
Needs more space between the rocks for flow, PH appears oversized for the tank
Kinda guesses not knowing what the tank is or your goals or issues

The aquascape does not lend to proper flow between the rocks to ensure all waste and detritus can be removed by the skimmer, which could lead to a nutrient build up and the algae outbreak you are currently experiencing. How old is the tank, were the rocks live or dry originally, what are your water parameters?
I inherited the tank from a family member and moved it about 6 months ago. What you see is what I got with it. I have only lost one inhabitant in that time, it being an anenome about 30 days after I set it up. It a 55g, HOB filter, HOB skimmer, HOB UV stabilizer all working very well. My water parameters seem to be pretty stable:

My NO3 is high and I've been working it down via water changes and making progress. I am not dosing anything as I wanted to get NO3 down to negligible levels but even at that I don't know that I will.
It sounds like I need to do something different with my rock for better flow which may help with the NO3. I'm not looking to get into corals at this point as I'm happy with a FOWLR
What I want for now is a stable, healthy and as natural of anenvironment I can have with what I've got and see how it progresses.

That's a big list for a 55, the tang definitely needs to find a new home, tank is too small for it.
