O. scyllarus are found living at a wide variety of temperatures from 18 C in winter off southern Queensland to 32C+ in shallower equatorial waters. We don't know if their are regional differences with respect to temperature tolerance. Assuming your animal comes from Indonesia, it probably experiences annual variation from the low 20's to 31 C. A good average temperature would be 24-26 C. We do know that these animals are not terribly tolerant of rapid temperature change so swings of more than 2 or 3 degrees a day should be avoided.
