About 10 years ago, there was a group buy on ASTM certified thermometers. I'm sure there ar a few still floating around out there and I still have mine. I have verified it with a fluke pyrometers and it is accurate to 0.1 degrees or there about.

If you are worried about the calibration on your temp probe, reach out to me. I have a tight scedule but I'll help out as best I can.

I am surprised no one has grabed this up. I would, if I had not already purchased a lab grade one. Most hobbiest do not realize how inaccurate the typical hobby thermometers and heaters are. I have yet to see a single one that even specified any sort of accuracy. Variations of 4 degrees are very commonplace. The last heater I bought was off by 7 degrees.

Bump.

I would also be open to putting my spare thermometer in the hands of a Northern California or San Diego club for it’s members to use.
