Hi folks,

I am looking at one of these gagets and was wondering how is this device connected?

My sump is 30' away from my display tank - I want to put the probe in the display, and the heaters in the sump. Is there a wiring diagram anywhere online that shows the basic principal of the unit?

Is it just like a plug bar attached to the unit that you simply plug the heaters into?

It can switch up to 900w (115V) or 1800W (230V). The probe is on a 2meter cord and you would place it in the tank or sump. The heaters or chiller are plugged into a switched outlet that comes with the unit. It can either heat or cool but can't do both at the same time. To run multiple heaters you just plug a multistrip into the socket. My home plant aquarium has a set of Dupla Cables under the gravel and a Jager heater both connected in this way.
