temperature swing for SPS tank

I just bought TECO chiller, it's all good but its thermostat. After all effect, it has a temperature swing of 2~4F for tank water. (chiller works continuously 1 hour to pull down about 3F, then idle for about 1 hour)
Is this temperature fluctuation OK for SPS tank?

The tank temp is 78.8~81.8

youre OK at that degree. 76-83F is acceptable in reefs. as far as the thermostat. ive heard of other brands that do the same thing. i believe it might be a thermostat problem. can you e-mail the maker? REEF-ON!

I go from ~78/79~82/83 depending on the day without any problems. I'd say my average is a 4 degree swing.
