I had a great time there and I could have spent more than the 2.5 hours I was "allowed" to have there. I spent the first hour and 45 minutes in the Oceans building and then my wife and sister pushed us through the whole Rivers building in 45 minutes because they were hungry. Had I planned better I would have looked into the volunteer diving that they have a program for. I got to briefly talk with one of the volunteer divers as they were walking through the exhibit in their wet suit. My family was on our way home from a dive trip/vacation. I also should have tried to do the behind the scenes tour where they feed the tanks and talk about the plumbing and filtration. Advanced purchases of tickets were needed for that. I will have to go again some time.

Tips:
Park on the river front (cheaper/less traffic)
Use a student discount if you can
Eat breakfast at the Blue Plate before going in (blueberry Pancakes)
Eat at Big River Grille & Brewing Works when you are done (great micro-brew)

I was there back in 1994. It appears that a lot has changed since then. I am looking forward to visiting it again sometime soon.

Thanks for sharing all the pictures.
