termite treatment ?

I need to have my house tented for termites and was wondering in anyone know how safe that is for my sps tank.

I would think it would be extremely deadly. Why are you tenting? There is a company in my part of the world (southern California) who uses an orange oil extract. Can't think of the name of the company and I'm not sure if they are only in So. Cal but there is probably something similar near you. The somhow inject the oil directly into the wood, causing it to weep into the infested areas. I think that would be much safer, IMHO

someone told me that the chemical they use extacts all of the oxygen out of the house and if I shut off my pumps and run an air pump from outside with an airstone in the tank it should be OK. but I dont know that is true for sure I need to be 100%.
