Termites

Well there is always a bright side to every situation. For the past few months I have had sand mounds around my DT. I thought it was my diamond goby doing his thing. However. My tank has been down for 2 weeks and the piles at still happening. Well on a hunch I googled termites and from what I have read my stand and canopy appear to be infested. Thank god the tank is apart already. I never would have thought it was the case and could of had a major failure.

I can't seem to find any soft wood so the damage may be minimal at this point. I was thinking of bagging the stand up and fogging it. Or should I rebuild? I really don't have the time to build all new. Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful.

Problem is-Your house most likely has termites.
Little piles of wood is usually carpenter ants though
