I am cycling my first reef, and I didn't get saliferts. The way I see it, I will use the tetra tests I have until they read 0 for ammonia nitrate and nitrite, then get saliferts to be sure there is nothing bad, and then add a fish.(just thought I would expalin that I am not "cheaping out" on the reef, but why spend the money for absolute accuracy when you don't need it). But back to my question: Is there a conversion for mg/l to ppm. I am more familiar with the ppm and am curious what my levels are. ppm means something to me from freshwater experience. I can't tell if levels are skyrocketing or very low with the mg/l measurement.
