can you use a freshwater test kit for saltwater? how different would the results be?any help would be great thanks!

Not really. Maybe parts of it like the Ph part. Never had a freshwater tank so I wouldn't know too much whats in their kit.

well they have a nitrite that i can use for fresh and salt i'v been using that. they have freshwater amonia, nitrates, ph and high range ph

There are certain test kits that can be used for both fresh and salt water ie., most KH test can be used for both.Just check to make sure that it specifically states on the box or bottle.

i was wondering if you can use an actual frshwater test for saltwater. how much different would the results be.
