Test Kit?

I use Salifert tests. They seem to be fairly right when I compare results with my LFS. If my tank is stable and within acceptable ranges I don't worry. I judge the wellness of my tank by watching fish behavior and on how my corals look.

A.P.I. test arent to bad for the price for Calc. and Alk. Ive used Salifert but they have been having some issues on some of the test kits. What are you testing for?

Kinda funny how after awhile you can look in your tank and tell if someone or something is unhappy!

Yeah. Everything I have is happy right now. I have been using my LFS in MWC for my testing. I am trying to get away from doing this as I haven't been extreamly happy with their stuff. Although it is a long ways from me I am becoming very fond of Aquariums.

The most reliable and affordable test kits IMO are the Instant Ocean brand test kits witch are made by Hatch. What are you wanting to keep in your tank?

Salifert redesign their kits.

Mainly softies. I have 5 fish and mushrooms, zoa's, gsp, pretty large frogspawn, and a very small finger leather. Thanks for the advice everyone. This was my first post and won't be my last. I joined comas about two months ago because of a friend at work. I haven't been able to be at a meeting yet but maybe this month.
