Test Strip question

I use the 5in1 test strip from jungle labs. Not always mind you but whenever I don't have time for the regular tests. However, I noticed everything is perfect except my Alkalinity. Normally, according to the test strips a deep forest green color means your alkalinity is ideal. Mine on the other hand is a bright blue. Has anyone ever gotten a bright blue before? and if so what does it mean?

Thanks.

Those test strips aren't that accurate....in my experience... I spent a little more on Salifert test kits and I realized how off the test strips were. I'd rather spend a bit more/ or less (depending on where you get the kits) and get measurements that were accurate. I'm sure most ppls on RC would agree.

The test strips are very hit or miss. Sometimes they are accurate (tho not precise) and sometimes wildly wrong. If you have a parameter you know you can trust in a batch of strips, it's convenient to use, but don't trust every reading on the strip. Pick those you know are working properly.
