Testing Kits?

I was told by my LFS Seaside in Huntington Beach that because I only have two clowns and an anemone I would only need a Tetra All in One testing stick kit...

I've also been told by two other LFS i frequent that NEMS are a type of CORAL. and if you have CORAL you need a more in depth testing kit.

So...

Can i get some suggestions for brands RCers like to use?

Any brand more accurate than others? Easier to use? Bang for your buck?

If you went to an lfs that said nems were a type of coral, I wouldn't visit them for advice ever again. The biggest difference between the two is that corals have a calcium carbonate skeleton, while anemones do not. Anemones are also mobile and can move around your tank, while a coral wont. As for test kits, most are very similar in the procedures. Personally, I use salifert test kits, I've read they are fairly accurate and have pretty good reviews. Hannah checker test kits are really easy to use but of course are more expensive. The big parameters people usually look for on here when you're trying to get to the root of a problem are nitrate, calcium, magnesium, alkalinity, and pH.

sorry it was a misunderstanding, the LFS said that an anemone is like a coral and will need its light like a coral. but thank you for the tips. I think i'll go with the Hannah :D
